Three Stars of the week named
The Three Stars of the Week have been named for the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League for the time period between Feb 9-14.
1st Star — There is a tie for first star/s of the week with Tyler Puma and Cole Good being named. Both players played key roles in the Colts three consecutive wins last week, both scoring twice and adding 6 assists.
2nd Star — Alec MacVicar of the Colts is the League’s 2nd Star of the week recording his 5th shut-out of the season while stopping 54 of 55 shots he faced in two wins, giving him 15 on the year as the Colts improved to 21-3-1.
3rd Star — Zachary Lorette of the Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs has been named third star with his four goal effort in two Bulldog wins. Lorette has netted 12 goals in his past 11 games for the 22-3-1 Jr. Bulldogs.
