It is back to Antigonish Saturday evening April 15 where the Jr. Bulldogs will be looking to earn their second consecutive berth in the Don Johnson Memorial Cup Championship Tournament (symbolic of Atlantic Junior Hockey Supremacy).  The Bulldogs moved to within a game of advancing with a solid 7-1 thumping of the Capstone Colts at C.F.B. Shearwater Friday evening.  Luke Baldwin and Zachary Lorette tallied a pair of goals for the Bulldogs who led 3-0 and 4-0 after the first and second periods. Zachary Lorette added a pair of assists to go along with a goal and Nick Marshall chipped in with 3 assists to pace the scoring for Antigonish.  Other Bulldog goal scorers were Logan McGrath and Darren Waterman.  With Antigonish up 6-0, Cody Garcin scored the lone Colts goal with 6:01 left in the third period.  The Colts despite allowing the goals still outshot Antigonish 31-29.  The series has been close until Friday’s whitewashing with Antigonish outscoring the Colts 8-6 until Friday night’s onslaught while outshooting the Colts 121-111 through the five games.  Game 5 in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League Championship series moves back to Antigonish tonight for a 7:30 start.  If the Colts are able to force a 6th game, it will be back in Shearwater Friday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m.  The Don Johnson Memorial Cup Championship will begin Tuesday April 25 at the Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool.
