The Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League's Power Rankings including games up to Thursday, Sept 21 are as follows.  This season only the top 6 will be listed in each week's power rankings.  After Week 1, the rankings look like this:

1.  East Hants -- 2-0-0 in Week 1

2.  Sackville Blazers - 1-0-1 - scored 20 goals in 2 games

3.  Capstone Colts - shut-out win over Elks in opening game

4.  Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs -- 1-0 after defeating arch-rival the Strait Pirates

5.  Brookfield Elks -- Lost to the Colts 4-0 in their opening game but looked impressive

6.  Port Hawkesbury -- Tropical storm warnings cancelled home opener against South Shore

                                         Lost to Antigonish in opening game
