Power Rankings - Dec 5-12/23
The Christmas Break is now upon the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League. It enables players to make preparations to return home for the holidays, finish up University or complete year-end tasks at their place of employment. League action resumes Friday, Jan 5 with plenty of wide-open, hard-hitting hockey action through to the end of the regular season Saturday, Feb 24. The last power rankings until the middle of January are based on games played between Tuesday, Dec 5 and Tuesday Dec 12.

1. Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs - Improved to 20-1-1 with a 7-0 crushing of the Eskasoni Jr. Eagles 1
2. East Hants Penguins — Have won 17 of 21 games and hold down first in Fox Division 2
3. Capstone Colts — A last minute 4-3 loss to the Valley and an OT win over East Hants 4
4. Valley Maple Leafs — Played without a doubt their best game of the season, 4-3 win over the Colts ------
5. Pictou County Scotians — despite recent setback with use of illegal player, defeated Strait 3-1 3
6. Sackville — Enter 2024 looking to climb in the Fox where they are currently tied with the Lumberjacks -----
