Due to Saturday's potential storm of unknown consequences at this point, the Brookfield Elks and Sackville Blazers have decided to postpone their 4:00 p.m. start in Brookfield this afternoon.  According to Environment Canada, it is this time of day when the snow will have susided but heavy rain will be falling in the neighborhood of 15-20 mm over 2-3 hours.

At last word the South Shore Lumberjacks and Valley Maple Leafs game is still scheduled to be played in bridgewater this evening.
