Colts move back to # 1 in Power Rankings
With only 26 days remaining in the regular season before the 2023-24 Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League Playoffs get underway and the power rankings simply do not get any easier as teams continue to scratch and claw for playoff positioning. The following are the power rankings based on games played January 24th-January 31st.

1. Capstone Colts — Solid 4-2 win over the South Shore Lumberjacks at home 5
2. South Shore Lumberjacks - 1-1 on week including 4-1 win over East Hants 4
3. Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs — Did not play but remain convincing with a 23-1-2 record 2
4. East Hants Penguins — Still in first in Fred Fox Division by two points but a 4-1 loss to Lumberjacks 1
5. Pictou County Scotians — Rallied Sunday night for 5-4 overtime win over Eskasoni 3
6. Membertou Jr. Miners — Remain in 2nd place in Rowe after 9-2 thumping of Strait ----
