Sympathies extended to Family of Tim Hill

Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League Board of Governors and League Executive Members wish to extend sincerest sympathies to the family of the late Tim Hill.  Mr. Hill was responsible for bringing Junior Hockey to St. Margaret’s where it existed for a number of years until the franchise eventually was sold and transferred to Liverpool.

 
Tim was also Chair of Tasa Minor Hockey and acted as president of the Glen Arbour HOA while also Chairing the Board of Directors of St. Margaret’s Centre, a position he held for 20 years. He led the expansion of the facility, which is now considered one of the premier recreation facilities in the municipality. He received numerous awards and honors including the HRM Volunteer Award in 2014.
