The Capstone Colts are once again champions of the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League, capturing the NSJHL Veterans Cup for the second consecutive season.

The Colts completed a dominant playoff run with a four-game sweep of the Eskasoni Jr. Eagles in the league final, securing the title in decisive fashion. Their performance throughout the series showcased the depth, structure, and consistency that has defined the team all season.

Leading the way was Colts captain Liam Andrews, who was named playoff Most Valuable Player after an outstanding postseason. Andrews recorded 15 goals and 14 assists for 29 points in just 14 games, playing a pivotal role in the team’s championship run.

Despite the series result, the Eskasoni Jr. Eagles put together a remarkable postseason of their own, highlighted by their first-ever appearance in the NSJHL Final.

With the league championship decided, both the Capstone Colts and Eskasoni Jr. Eagles now turn their attention to the Maritime Championship, set to begin April 23 in Caraquet, New Brunswick.

The Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League congratulates both organizations on their success this season and wishes them the best as they represent the league on the regional stage.
