The Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League is proud to announce Lane Lochead of the Pictou County Scotians as the recipient of the league’s Most Valuable Player award for the 2025–26 season.

Lochead delivered an outstanding campaign, recording 19 goals and 41 assists for 60 points in just 26 games. His consistent production and impact at both ends of the ice made him a key piece of the Scotians’ success throughout the season.

A dynamic playmaker with the ability to control the pace of the game, Lochead proved to be one of the league’s most dangerous offensive threats while continuing to lead by example every night.

The NSJHL congratulates Lane Lochead on an exceptional season and a well-deserved recognition as the league’s Most Valuable Player.
