Your South Shore Lumberjacks are pleased to announce the signing of 2008 born Forward Owen O'Leary.

Hailing from Bedford NS, O'Leary joins the Lumberjacks after spending the past two seasons with the CPA Cheetahs where he appeared in 42 games recording an impressive 76 points. Owen also served as Captain of the Cheetahs this past season leading his team to the school's 9th Provincial Championship.

"We are extremely excited to have Owen join our organization this season. His intelligent two-way game will be a tremendous asset to our lineup.

Owen has an excellent ability to read the ice and create offensive opportunities for both himself and his teammates.

He is highly skilled with the puck and when given time and space, he has the ability to make the opposition pay. Once again, we are adding a player with an outstanding leadership background. Owen is the type of teammate who earns the respect of everyone in the room and we believe his leadership and character will be a great addition to our organization. We can't wait for our fans to see Owen in action and watch him continue to develop as a Lumberjack."
