The South Shore Lumberjacks are pleased to announce the signing of 2008 born Defenseman Espen Simensen.

Simensen from Halifax, spent two seasons with the Basin Armada U16AAA program before joining the Citadel Phoenix. In 19 games with Citadel Espen recorded 5 goals and 16 points while playing a significant role on the Phoenix defensive corps.

"We are very excited to add Espen to our defensive group this season. He has been a great addition to our team and has put together a very impressive training camp so far. Espen was a key member of Citadel's defensive group playing big minutes and showcasing a strong, dependable defensive game while also providing an offensive contribution when called upon.

He has already suited up in two preseason games with us and has shown that he belongs at this level. We are excited to continue watching his development and can't wait for our fans to see Espen in action soon!"
