Pens now 3-0-1 with their 3rd straight win

Penguins win third straight

 
The East Hants Penguins won their third consecutive game of the season Thanksgivivng Afternoon against the Sackville Blazers in Sackville scoring six unanswered goals after trailing 3-1 to register a 7-3 win.  Bruen Fisher opened the game’s scoring for the Pens who are now 3-0-1 on the season but Ryan MacDonald and David Purdy put the Blazers in front 2-1 after twenty minutes.  Justin Hardie Made it 3-1 Sackville in the second period before the Penguins began their onslaught of goals from Bruen Fisher, Cole Stewart, Noah Comeau with the game winner on the power-play, and Marshall Plandowski to make it 5-3 Penguins after forty minutes.  Logan Colter and Owen Cleary on the power-play with 16 seconds remaining rounded out the scoring for the Pens.  The Penguins outshot the Blazers 51-44.  Brody Fraser collected 3 assists for the Penguins.  This marked the second win of the weekend over the Blazers who are now 1-2-1 to begin the 22-23 season and three points behind the Penguins.  The two teams do not meet again until Friday Dec 2 in Lantz.
