3 points separate fifth from first place in FOX
We are now a month into the season and of course 3.5 months remain in the 22-23 NSJHL Season but if the opening month in the Fred Fox Division stays as close as it is at the present time, it is going to be on heckuva season. Liam Andrews scored four goals for the now 5-1-0 Colts Monday night in Sackville as the Colts moved into a first place tie with the 4-0-2 East Hants Penguins. Alec MacVicar who registered a shut-out against the Blazers on Friday night, allowed only one goal on 37 shots while also recording an assist on the first Colts goal who took a 5-1 lead after twenty minutes. Andrews scored 3 of his goals in the first period and his fourth was the first one if the second period as the Colts increased their lead to 6-1. Will MacRae then scored a pair fo the Colts in the final three minutes of the second to conclude the game's scoring and give the Colts an 8-1 win. Other Colt goal scorers were Stephen Warwick and Tyler Puma. After the Penguins and East Hants, are Liverpool who will visit Shearwater Friday night for a 7:30 game with a 4-2-0 record and the 4-3-0 Brookfield Elks. In fifth place are the 3-4-1 Blazers.
