East Hants  7   Valley Maple Leafs  4

The Valley Maple Leafs have yet to put together sixty consecutive minutes of hockey but once they do, they will no doubt be in the win column.  They were tied 2-2 with the now 8-0-2 Penguins Sunday in Lantz as Devin Meagher and Logan Colter scored in the opening period while Ryan Warner and Noelan Spink tallied for the Leafs who led 2-1 until there 17 seconds to play in the opening frame.  The teams traded goals in the second with Colter scoring his second for the Pens to go along with two assists while Brady MacLean tallied for the Leafs.  The Pens came out strong in the third with three straight goals from Brody Fraser, Morgan Lake and Meagher with his 2nd of the game while Connor Deluney and the Pens Ethan Wheeler finished the game’s scoring.  The Pens who are tied with the Colts for first in the Fox Division outshot the Leafs 35-29.
