Special Teams a question Mark for Colts
Special teams will no doubt be addressed by Capstone Colts Head Coach Justin Boone after the Colts gave up 3 power-play and 1 short-handed goal in a 4-1 loss to the AA Munro Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs in Game 1 of the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League Championship Series Friday night in Antigonish. The Jr. Bulldogs received a pair of power-play goals from Zachary Lorette in the first period and were then held scoreless until the third period when Jack Hayne scored a short-handed marker followed by a power-play marker. Goaltender Colin MacEachern of the Bulldogs turned away 25 of 26 shots he faced. The Colts Ryan Welsh spoiled MacEachern's bid at a shut-out with his goal in the closing stages of the game. Antigonish scored their 4 goals on 33 shots taken on Alec MacVicar. Game 2 in this Championship Final will be played Easter Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at C.F.B. Shearwater.
