A new feature on the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey which you will be able to read every Wednesday or Thursday throughout the 23-24 regular season is “The Game of the Week”.
Without a doubt, the East Hants Penguins and Sackville Blazers game was the game hands down as the teams played to a 2-2 draw after one period with East Hants taking a 3-2 lead after forty minutes.
In the third, the Blazers attacked and scored two goals to take a 4-3 lead before Noah Comeau tallied for the Pens with 58 seconds remaining in regulation to knot the game at 4-4.
It was then up to Hayden Tamm for the Penguins who outshot the Blazers 33-30, to score with 3:09 having been played in the five-minute sudden-death period to give East Hants a 5-4 win.
