Only 13 seconds into Friday’s game, the Scotians were all over the Pens net but failed to score on Marcus Pettipas. The Penguins came right back as Devin Meagher went through the Pictou defence as Meagher came in alone to the right of the Scotians net from 15 feet out and made an accurate shot which saw Devin Meagher then put East Hants up 2-0 as he came down the left side of the Scotians net and let a shot go close in which seemingly bounced in off Scotians goalie Jack Cameron. The Scotians defence was stalwart in the third period. Will Mierau picked up 3 assists for the Scotians.
