The Strait won for the eleventh time this season against six losses as they easily rolled over the Valley Maple Leafs 12-4 on home ice.  Somewhat disappointing result for the Leafs who had really started to show some improvement in recent games, losing their last few by a single goal including one in overtime against Pictou.  The teams were tied 1-1 after twenty minutes Friday but the rest was history as the Strait scored five times in the second and six more in the third.  Cadyn Power and Danny Gillis both had hat-tricks for the Strait, Gillis also added an assist.  Callum McClellan scored a pair with Landon Macintosh scoring once and adding three assists and Matthew Ellis scoring once and adding two assists.  Drew MacDonald and Zach Binotto rounded out the scoring for the Strait.  Luke Baldwin collected a trio of assists for the Pirates.  For the Maple Leafs,  Jacob Gerhardt, Braden Aucoin, Nick Oickle and Jackson Welsh all scored as the Leafs fell to 3-8-1.  Port Hawkesbury outshot the Valley 50-30.
