Game of the week takes place in Bridgewater
Without a doubt, the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League’s Game of the Week took place in Bridgewater Sunday afternoon as the South Shore Lumberjacks sneaked by the Capstone Colts 2-1. Of the three goals, one came in each period of play. The most important one by Joe Osborne of the Lumberjacks who scored his 4th of the season, this one on the power-play with 3:36 remaining in regulation to give the Lumberjacks their 11th win of the season and tie them in points for third place in the Fred Fox Division with the Sackville Blazers. Daniel Kline netted the other South Shore goal, his eighth of the season in the opening period. The South Shore outshot the Colts 38-30. The Colts were coming off an 8-4 drubbing at the hands of the Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs.
