With only one weekend remaining prior to the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League’s Christmas Break, there were some exceptionally competitive games between Nov 29 and December 5 while the Eskasoni Jr. Eagles suffered a blow-out in Bridgewater against the South Shore Lumberjacks. 1. Antigonish received a fright in Brookfield but still 2 wins and now 19-1-1 - 1
2. East Hants Penguins — two wins including one over the Maple Leafs 4
3. Pictou County — 1-0-1 on the week, including 6-5 OT loss to Jr. Miners —
4. Capstone Colts — Now trail East Hants by 3 points but won 7-4 win in Strait 6
5. South Shore Lumberjacks - now tied with Sackville for 3rd 3
6. Membertou Jr. Miners — Won against Scotians 6-5 in OT 5
