Two NSJHL Games PPD heading into Christmas Break

Unfortunately, ice difficulties and Monday’s ferocious wind and rain storm forced the postponement of two Nova Scotia regular-season games over the weekend.

Ice time troubles experienced by the Brookfield Elks due to the constant demand for ice time for the Elks to postpone their game with the South Shore Lumberjacks Saturday afternoon in Brookfield.  They will try again when they meet for the Lumberjacks first game after the Christmas break on Saturday, January 6th at the Don Henderson Memorial Sportsplex in Brookfield in a 4:00 p.m. start.

The other game postponed was the one in Sackville last nigh between the Maple Leafs and Sackville Blazers.  Team and League Officials decided with certain power outages being experiences and the status of power uncertain to go along with near 100 KM/H winds and heavy rain, it would be far safer if all players stayed off the Road.  The Blazers will return to action Monday, Jan 8th in Sackville at 7:30 against the South ShoreLumberjacks at 7:30 p.m.
