Literally no doubt about which was “The Game of the Week” in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League between Jan 10th and January 17th.  It transpired in Trenton Sunday evening January 14 when the Pictou County Scotians scored a huge 6-5 shoot-out win over the 22-1-2 Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs.  The Scotians rallied from a 4-0 deficit to tie the game at 4-4 in the third before falling g behind 5-4 only to score late and tie the game 5-5 at the conclusion of regulation play.  There was nothing decided in overtime until Thomas Kennaley scored the shoot-out winner and give the Scotians a 6-5 verdict and move them three points up on the fifth place Eskasoni Jr. Eagles in the race for the fourth and final playoff spot in the NSJHL.
