Little change in Power Rankings Feb 1-8
It goes without saying, the past week has been exceptionally difficult for the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League in games being played when a storm larger than White Juan in so many areas as paralyzed communities. Membertou is already being forced to PPD. games again this weekend. It goes without saying that with only two weeks left in the regular-season, it only makes re-scheduling even more difficult. However in saying this, we did have three games played this week and it resulted in a small change in the power rankings for the week of Feb 1-8th. So here are the Power Rankings for this period of time.

1. Capstone Colts — An offensive show in dumping the Valley Maple Leafs 9-4 to tie the Penguins. 1
2. Antigonish — Did not play but can’t argue with a team that has lost only once in regulation all season. 3
3. Sackville Blazers — Came Alive in their two games with 2-0 and 4-3 wins Monday and Tuesday. ——
4. South Shore — Did not play and are involved in a disputed decision over last Friday’s game in East Hants. 2
5. East Hants — Still tied for first in Fred Fox but did not play 4
6. Pictou - Did not play but remain red hot interring to move into second place above Strait and Jr. Miners 5
