For the week of Feb 8-15, the NSJHL had a couple of games where blow-outs decided the games, there were a couple of shut-outs but after reviewing the opinions of individuals as the Game of the Week for Feb 8-15, it had to go to the Feb 9th game in Windsor where the South Shore Lumberjacks squeaked by the Valley Maple Leafs 3-2 in overtime.  The teams were scoreless after one period, tied at 1-1 after forty minutes and 2-2 at the end of regulation before John Shubaly’s goal 59 seconds into the three-on-three sudden death overtime period decided the game in favour of the Lumberjacks.  Ironically, the Maple Leafs went to Bridgewater for a make-up game Feb 15 and the Leafs won this 3-2.  Goaltending was sharp in the Windsor game with the Lumberjacks holding a 43-37 advantage.
