Scotians # 1 in Power Rankings
This will mark the final week of Power Rankings for the 2023-24 NSJHL season with playoffs getting underway early next week. There were numerous games during the week of Feb 16-23 and because power rankings are based more on a team’s play in a given week than overall league standings, fans and players will no doubt see quite a difference in the rankings this week:

1. Pictou County Scotians - Sizzled last week going 3-0-0 as they concluded their regular season 6
2. South Shore Lumberjacks — Another strong week as they continue chase for first place in Fox going 3-1-0 4
3. Capstone Colts — Went 2-0-0 but unable to lock up first place in Fred Fox Division 1
4. Membertou Jr. Miners - A 2-1-0 record with wins over Lumberjacks and Antigonish ---
5. Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs — Lowest ranking all season as the Bulldogs lost 3 of 4 games 2
6. Port Hawkesbury — A 2-1-0 week as they continue to battle for home ice in opening round of playoffs ------
