Bulldogs win their 8th in a row
The Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs won their 8th consecutive game in Nova Scotia Junior Play Tuesday evening in Trenton, 4-0 over the Pictou County Scotians. For the Scotians, it was their third loss in four games. Ryan MacDonald was a stand-out for the Bulldogs in nets as he recorded the shut-out while stopping all 42 shots he faced. The Bulldogs managed 29. Zachary Lorette scored his 7th goal of the season with under two minutes to play in the opening period. Brodie MacDonald made it 2-0 Antigonish by the end of the second period. He also had an assist. Owen Flemming and Jack MacDonald scored in the third for the Bulldogs. Owen Forsythe and Brody MacPherson each collected a pair of assists. The Bulldogs are now 9-1-0 and they will complete the home and home with the 4-2-2 Scotians Friday night in Antigonish at 7:30 p.m.
