Lumberjacks record solid win in Sackville

The South Shore Lumberjacks having lost three of their four most recent games came into Sackville Monday needing a win in the worst way. They did not leave disappointed as they upended the Sackville Blazers 6-2 to improve to 4-5-0 on the season against the 9-3-0 Blazers.  The Lumberjacks who had lost earlier this season to Sackville by a score of 3-2 took a 1-0 lead after one on a goal from John Shubaly who would also go on and add a pair of assists.  After Logan Mitchell tied it for the Blazers early in the second period on the power-play, Joe Osborne then scored the first of three straight Lumberjack goals in a span of 1:57 to take a commanding 4-1 lead.  After Osborne, Justin Hardwick Brown and Cohen Westlake scored for the South Shore.  The Lumberjacks were not finished as Daniel Kline made it 5-1 South Shore just 57 seconds into the third period.  Lawson Cook then came back and scored the Blazers final goal of the night before Angus Berry completed the game’s scoring for the Lumberjacks who outshot the Blazers 57-38.  Aaron Lane added a pair of assists for the South Shore.
